    About Michigan

    Michigan (pop: 10,120,860), "The Wolverine State" is a midwestern state and bounded by four of the five Great Lakes, plus Lake Saint Clair. In fact, Michigan has the longest freshwater shoreline in the United States and is the only bi-peninsular state. The Lower Peninsula (The Mitten) the Upper Peninsula with it's lakes and outdoor activities.
